Events Coordinator

This is a full-time exempt position based out of our Newtown, Pennsylvania office. At EventRoostr, our client relationships are our top priority. We’re looking for a dedicated and personable event coordinator to maintain our clients’ accounts and serve as our main point of contact.

Objectives of this Role

Act as the main point of contact in all matters relating to vendor concerns and needs
Build and strengthen vendor relationships to achieve long-term partnerships
Maintain accurate vendor records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals
Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and service offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients

Daily and Weekly Responsibilities

Take inquiries and requests from vendors and address their needs
Stay on top of accounts, making sure they’re receiving services that are meeting their needs
Meet regularly with other members of the team to discuss progress and find new and creative ways to improve business
Onboard and support vendors to improve their experience on the platform
Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly

Skills and Qualifications

Internship or professional experience in a sales or customer service role
Ability to multitask and juggle several responsibilities simultaneously
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback
Proficiency with common customer success and customer relationship management software, such as Gainsight and Salesforce
Professional certification (e.g. from the Strategic Account Management Association)

Marketing Manager

This is a full-time exempt position based out of our Newtown, Pennsylvania location. We’re looking for a dedicated Marketing Manager to maintain our company’s marketing program. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive to provide exceptional customer service. Applicants should also be comfortable working with organizational software and implementing multiple channel programs and directing the development of the company market. Objectives of this Role

Assessing existing and potential markets
Product life cycle planning
Coordination of products development
Development of product strategies
Definition of promotional activities and product launch
Activities may include technical sales support, product advertising/promotion planning

Daily and Weekly Responsibilities

Managing annual marketing plan in support of organizational strategy and objectives; managing, implementing and executing the marketing policies and practices, which will include market research, competitor analyses, and customer service and retention monitoring processes and initiatives
Building and managing marketing and customer service teams capable of carrying out needed marketing and service strategies
Ensuring marketing communications are coordinated, including the development and distribution of all marketing collateral; will support marketing plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with Sales organization
Managing the pricing structures; expanding pricing models to ensure the competitive and fiscal viability of products
Providing leadership in management and development of joint ventures, affiliations, and partnership arrangements
Overseeing business and market development; performing market research and planning, strategic direction for promotion and advertising; may assist with the preparation of the annual operating plans and develop long-range product plans for the company
Supporting Sales in establishing the direction and rationale for promotional activity on the product(s) line; identify requirements for Product training; will inform all sales personnel including sales channel of product changes, new products, accessories, and other technical data necessary to understand and implement the product selling strategy
Executing the Company’s business marketing plan and achieve key milestone and revenue targets; developing in-depth knowledge of all competitive product offerings and tailor product strategy; supplying senior management team with up-to-date competitive intelligence; defining product attributes and differentiators
Coordinating and managing PR (press releases, product announcements, press industry analyst meetings)
Performing other work-related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related discipline required
Minimum of 2 years experience and a demonstrated track record of accomplishments
Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span

Preferred Qualifications

Prior marketing development and product launch and deployment
Technical skills in strategic planning and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising
Excellent computer skills including all MS Office applications. (Word, excel, outlook, PowerPoint) required
